About Favicons
Favicons are the small icons that appear in browser tabs, bookmarks, and home screens. Different platforms require different sizes:
- 16×16 — Browser tab (standard)
- 32×32 — Browser tab (retina)
- 48×48 — Windows desktop shortcut
- 64×64 — Windows site icon
- 128×128 — Chrome Web Store
- 180×180 — Apple Touch Icon (iPhone/iPad)
- 192×192 — Android Chrome (manifest)
- 512×512 — Android Chrome splash screen
